Ayesha’s business partnerships have gained profile and traction for Fashion ComPassion and those businesses it supports creating opportunities for distribution in the UK market. It has provided new markets and an international platform to over 350 women artisans. Fashion ComPassion has established itself as a renowned ethical fashion retailer in the UK as well as in Dubai and Pakistan with exceptional brand awareness created by extensive press coverage both in the UK and internationally. Celebrities like Amal Clooney, Livia Firth, Eva Longoria and Lily Cole have endorsed FC brands. Fashion ComPassion hosted several trunk shows, events and talks, stocked a collection at the British Museum, and formed partnerships with the UN WFP and the US State Department Alliance Of Artisan Enterprise
Ayesha is recognised as the leading voice and expert on socially responsible fashion and speaks on panels, discussions, events and provides social and expert commentary for TV and radio, she has been interviewed by CNBC Arabia and SKY News and is a contributor on The Guardian Sustainable Business Network. The BBC’s 100 Women Award recognises achievements of inspirational women from all corners of the world. It seeks to represent female entrepreneurship, and to create visibility of the achievements of those women who seek to change the world. Included in the annual list are women from a wide range of fields including nurses on the front line, documentary film-makers, activists, leaders in science, politics, education and the arts.
In 2014 Ayesha was proudly recognised in this list as the founder of Fashion ComPassion to show that female role models are found in all walks of life, for empowering marginalised women to achieve greater gender equality. Further, Ayesha has been involved with organisations like 85 Broads London ,Women For Women International, Cherie Blair Foundation, Fashion Revolution, British Council, Bulbula Network, Fellow at Ethical Fashion Forum and mentor at Women Of The Future Ambassador Programme.
